I know of several teachers who are using or have used this blog in their lessons at some point. First, I must say I am flattered and thrilled beyond belief. The purpose of this blog is not just to keep family and friends updated, but also to disseminate a firsthand account in real time of some countries with interesting reputations. There’s a lot of misinformation as well as conflicting information out there, and I see it as my responsibility to correct that as much as one college kid possibly can.
I generally try to link to my sources, but with spotty internet that is not always possible. Please let me know if you’d like to see any of them, and I can send you my little blog bibliography.
